More Commuter Parking Available At 8A Park & Ride
Non-Stop, Frequent Bus Service To Midtown & Downtown, NYC
412 New Parking Spaces- NOW OPEN!
Hoboken, N.J. February 12, 2007 – Good news comes for area commuters as the 8A
Park & Ride will be expanding on February 12th, offering 412 additional parking
spots.
Academy Bus and Suburban Transit jointly operate bus service to Midtown and
Downtown, Manhattan from the 8A Park & Ride location. These bus services are
non-stop to New York, with frequent departures during AM and PM rush hours.
Northbound departures to Midtown depart the Park & Ride from 5:30AM through
8:25PM. Between 6AM and 8AM, buses depart every 5-10 minutes. Some buses arrive
at the Port Authority, while most others make numerous stops across Midtown.
Southbound service to 8A Park & Ride departs the Port Authority from 7:30AM
until 11:00PM, with service every 5-10 minutes during PM rush hours.
Northbound departures to Wall Street depart the Park & Ride from 6:00AM through
7:35AM.PM departures depart the Wall Street area from 4:05PM to 6:15PM.
The 8A Park & Ride is located off of interchange 8A NJ Turnpike (at the
intersection of Rte. 130 and Rte. 32) in Cranbury, NJ. Parking Permits are
$35.00 per month, or $2 per day. Permits and bus tickets are available for
purchase at the 8A Park & Ride from 5:00 AM- 8:00PM Monday-Friday, and are
obtained on a “first come, first serve” basis at the facility. The rates for the
bus service are as follows. Monthly: $345, 10-Trip: $90, One-way: $10.70,
Senior: $5.35.
